Greighlan Crossing Pipe Band - 18th Annual Burns Night (2026)

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

    The number of tickets available for sale in each price range may change, but the overall number of tickets for sale and odds of winning will not change as outlined under Section 11.11 of the Licensed Charitable Gaming Rules.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #168810

    1 for $10.00; 300 tickets
    3 for $25.00; 1050 tickets
    10 for $50.00; 1650 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: January 23, 2026 at 8:45:00 p.m. PST

    Draw
    50/50 draw: January 23, 2026 at 9:30:00 p.m. PST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at The Scottish Cultural Centre, 8886 Hudson St, Vancouver, BC

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://district5050.rafflenexus.com/winners on January 23, 2026.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the District 5050 Pipe Band Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the District 5050 Pipe Band Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    District 5050 Pipe Band Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: greighlancrossing@gmail.com. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at greighlancrossing@gmail.com should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

District 5050 Pipe Band Society advances musical education and cultural preservation through the Greighlan Crossing Pipe Band program. We promote Scottish cultural traditions and enrich community events and engagement through performances, training, and accessible opportunities for musical development.
